Folify is a modern portfolio builder designed for developers, designers, students, and freelancers. It lets you quickly create professional portfolio websites using beautiful templates, a drag-and-drop editor, SEO optimization tools, and support for custom domains — all without writing a single line of code.
Building a portfolio on Folify is straightforward and code-free. Here’s the process:

Create a free Folify account at folify.me.

Pick a template

Browse the template library and choose one that matches your style.

Add your content

Fill in your projects, experiences, skills, and profile details using the drag-and-drop editor.

Publish

Hit publish and your portfolio goes live instantly — no code needed.
You can have a basic portfolio live in under 10 minutes. The total time depends on how much content you want to add — the more projects, work experiences, and custom blocks you include, the longer it naturally takes to fill in.

Yes. You can link a custom domain to your Folify portfolio by configuring your domain provider’s DNS settings. After adding your domain in Folify, you’ll receive step-by-step DNS instructions.
Custom domain support is available on the Pro plan. You can upgrade any time from the pricing page.

Yes. Folify offers a free plan that includes all the essential tools to create and publish a professional portfolio — including built-in analytics. Paid plans unlock additional features like custom domains, removal of Folify branding, premium templates, advanced SEO tools, and priority support.

You can upgrade to Pro at any time to unlock custom domains, premium templates, and branding removal.
Yes. You can switch between plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep Pro features through the time you’ve already paid for.

Yes. Folify automatically generates SEO-friendly metadata, structured data, and sitemaps for every portfolio. To maximize your visibility, make sure to fill in descriptive project titles, detailed descriptions, and relevant keywords in your profile.
Folify handles the technical SEO for you — but the content you provide makes the biggest difference. Here are the best practices:

Yes. Folify supports unlimited projects, work experiences, and custom content blocks. There’s no cap on how much work you can feature, so you can build a truly complete portfolio.

Technical & Security

Setting up your custom domain takes a few minutes:

Add your domain in Folify

Go to Settings → Custom Domain and enter your custom domain.

Add the DNS record(s) at your registrar

For a root domain (yourname.com), add an A record with Name @ → Value 76.76.21.21, plus a CNAME with Name www → Value cname.vercel-dns.com. For a subdomain (portfolio.yourname.com), add a single CNAME with your subdomain prefix → Value cname.vercel-dns.com.

Click Verify

Back in Settings → Custom Domain, click Verify. Once your DNS is detected, the status changes to Active.
DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours, though it often completes much sooner. See the full Custom Domain guide for details.
Yes. All Folify portfolios are served over HTTPS, and Folify follows standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Portfolios are hosted on Folify’s infrastructure, so there’s no full export to a standalone file. However, you can download your images and copy your content at any time for backup purposes.
