Updating Your Profile
From Account Settings, you can keep your public identity and login credentials up to date. The following fields are editable at any time:- Display name — the name shown on your published portfolio
- Email address — used to log in and receive account notifications
- Password — update to a new password at any time
- Profile avatar — upload a photo or image that represents you
Your Portfolio URL
On the free plan, your portfolio is publicly accessible at folify.me/yourname. Your username is the last segment of that URL and is set when you create your account. To change your username, go to Account Settings → Profile and enter a new username. Your portfolio will immediately become available at the new address.Changing your username changes your public portfolio URL. If you’ve already shared your portfolio link — on a résumé, social media profile, or anywhere else — update it in every location after making this change.
Data and Privacy
You own all content you create on Folify. Your projects, profile information, and portfolio data belong to you.- Download your data — go to Account Settings → Privacy and request a full export of your account data at any time.
- Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account from Account Settings → Privacy. Your account and all associated data will be removed within 30 days of your request.
Security
Keeping your account secure protects your portfolio and your personal information. Follow these best practices:- Use a strong, unique password — choose a password you don’t use on any other site, ideally generated by a password manager.
- HTTPS everywhere — all Folify portfolios are served over HTTPS, so your visitors’ connections are always encrypted.
- Suspect unauthorized access? — contact support@folify.me immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account. Our team will help you secure it right away.
