The Folify builder lets you visually assemble your portfolio by adding, removing, and rearranging blocks — no code or design skills needed. Every change you make appears instantly in the preview panel, so you always know exactly how your portfolio looks to visitors before you publish.

How the Builder Works

Folify uses a block-based system where your portfolio is made up of individual content sections — a header block, a projects block, a skills block, and so on. You build your page by choosing the blocks you want and arranging them in any order. Drag any block up or down to reorder it, and the live preview updates in real time. There are no templates to fight against and no code to write — every interaction is visual.

Adding Blocks

Open your portfolio in the builder

Log in to Folify and click Edit Portfolio to open the drag-and-drop builder for your portfolio.

Click 'Add Block' in the sidebar

In the left sidebar, click the + Add Block button to open the block selection panel.

Choose a block type from the panel

Browse the available block types — header, projects, skills, experience, contact, and more — and click the one you want to add.

Fill in your content

The new block appears in your portfolio. Click into it to enter your text, links, images, and any other relevant details.

Drag to position it where you want

Grab the drag handle on the left side of the block and move it up or down to place it in the right spot in your layout.

Rearranging Blocks

To change the order of your sections, drag the handle on the left edge of any block and drop it into its new position. The preview reflects your changes instantly — no saving or refreshing required. You can rearrange blocks as many times as you like until your layout feels right.

Removing Blocks

To remove a section you no longer need, click the trash icon on the block you want to delete. The block is removed immediately from both the editor and your live portfolio preview.
Removing a block permanently deletes all the content inside it. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you no longer need the content before removing a block.

Real-Time Preview

While you build, Folify displays a live preview alongside the editor so you can see your changes as you make them. When you’re ready to check the full experience, click the Preview button to open a full-screen view of your portfolio exactly as visitors will see it — including layout, fonts, colors, and all content. The preview works on both desktop and tablet, so you can check how your portfolio looks across screen sizes before going live.
